Description

“ENHAM (KNIGHTS’), a parish in the hundred of Andover, Andover division of the county of Southampton 1 ¾ mile (North) from Andover, containing 77 inhabitants.  The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Winchester, rated in the king’s books at ₤10, and in the patronage of the Provost and Fellows of Queen’s College, Oxford.  The church is dedicated to St. Michael.  Here is a charity school, endowed with ₤25 per annum.
