Records Once you have exhausted the census there are lots of details you have to pad out such as exact dates and places. With the older censuses that do not state relationships explicitly, then you need to use other records to prove the relationships. Each state and county has different records available. The first place I recommend you go to find out what records are available is the Family History Library Catalogue and their Research Helps. I have added links below for your convenience.
