Henry Phillip Wilde

Henry Wilde was born 16 May 1832 in Bishopstoke, Hampshire, England to William and Eliza Phillips Wilde. He was the second of 9 children.

He was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when he was 17 years on 18 Nov 1849 in England. Ten years later he made the trek to Utah with his father and two children.

Before Henry immigrated to America, he married Jane Batchelor on 15 Oct 1853 in Bishopstoke, Hampshire, England.

They had 11 children:

Henry's wife died in 1891 in Coalville, Summit, Utah when she was 57. According to the Ancestral File, five months later Henry married a second time to a lady named Mariam Manktelow. Very little is known about Mariam.

Henry died 4 Jun 1899 in Coalville, Summit, Utah. He was 81 years old.
